Agreement concerning the Transfer of Defense Equipment and Technology
Japan has concluded agreements concerning the transfer of defense equipment and technology with various countries as legal frameworks for the handling of transferred defense equipment and technology. To date, Japan has concluded the agreements* with 17 countries.
*With the United States, Japan has concluded the “Exchange of Notes concerning the Transfer of Arms and Military Technologies to the United States of America”.
